Easy & Elegant Filet Mignon in Mushroom Sauce – Ready in 30 Mins!

Ingredients: 2 filet mignon steaks (6-8 oz each) 1 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp unsalted butter 1 cup cremini or button mushrooms, sliced 2 cloves garlic, minced ½ cup heavy cream

½ cup beef broth ¼ cup dry white wine (optional) 1 tsp Dijon mustard Salt and pepper to taste Fresh thyme or parsley for garnish

Sear the Steaks: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season filet mignon with salt and pepper, then sear for 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside. 

Prepare the Sauce: In the same pan, melt butter and sauté mushrooms until golden. Add garlic, then deglaze with wine (if using). 

Finish the Dish: Stir in beef broth, cream, and mustard. Simmer until thickened. Return steaks to the pan and coat with sauce.
