How To Store Cut Grapefruit To Keep It Fresh For Longer

Grapefruit is a delicious and nutritious fruit, but once it’s been cut, it can lose its freshness quickly if not stored properly. By taking the right steps, you can extend the shelf life of your cut grapefruit and ensure it stays juicy and flavorful for several days. 

The most effective way to keep cut grapefruit fresh is to store it in the refrigerator. Once you’ve sliced the grapefruit, place the pieces in an airtight container or a resealable plastic bag. If you don’t have either, you can cover the cut grapefruit tightly with plastic wrap. 

The airtight seal prevents the fruit from drying out and minimizes exposure to air, which can cause it to spoil faster. Store the container in the fridge at a temperature of around 35-40°F (1.5-4.5°C) to maintain its freshness for up to 3-4 days.
