Drafted second overall by the Seattle SuperSonics in 2007, Durant showcased his elite scoring ability in his rookie season before the franchise relocated to Oklahoma City and became the Thunder.

In OKC, Durant evolved into a perennial All-Star, winning the 2014 NBA MVP and leading the Thunder to the 2012 NBA Finals alongside Russell Westbrook and James Harden.

However, after years of playoff heartbreak, Durant made a controversial move in 2016 by signing with the Golden State Warriors, forming a juggernaut alongside Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.
