What Kenny Pickett Needs to Do to Lead the Steelers to a Super Bowl

First and foremost, he needs to improve his consistency and decision-making, ensuring he minimizes turnovers while maximizing efficiency in high-pressure situations.

His accuracy, particularly on deep throws and tight-window passes, must improve to stretch defenses and open up the field for playmakers like George Pickens and Diontae Johnson.

Additionally, he should develop a stronger command of the offense, displaying better pre-snap reads and adjustments to counter defensive schemes.

Leadership will be crucial, as Pickett must inspire confidence in his teammates, maintain composure in crucial moments, and take full control of the locker room as the franchise quarterback.

His chemistry with the offensive line must also improve, requiring quick releases and smart pocket movement to avoid unnecessary sacks.

Furthermore, developing a stronger rapport with offensive coordinator Matt Canada—or adapting to any coaching changes—will ensure the system is tailored to his strengths.

Complementing his passing game with strategic mobility, particularly in extending plays and picking up key first downs, will add another dimension to the offense.

If Pickett can make these strides while the defense continues to perform at a high level, the Steelers could emerge as serious Super Bowl contenders.
